2024 Annual Charity Golf Day Raises £9,708

The 2024 event saw a huge £9,708 raised for Macmillan Cancer Support during the Annual Charity Golf Day, held at Hanbury Manor, bringing the total raised over the years to £120,000! It was a great, albeit damp day that saw 34 teams take part in the tightly fought competition with team LMG 2 coming out on top, closely followed by joint second place BluePoint Tech 2 and 2BM.

Winner of the Longest Drive was John Byron (team Splice Group).
Nearest The Pin was Stuart Read (team Netceed 2).
Winner of the ACE Golf Challenge was Andy Mason (team Mayflex).

The evening kicked off with a three-course dinner, a raffle, and an auction, all contributing to the fantastic fundraising total for the evening.

2023 Annual Charity Golf Day Raises £11,000

The 2023 event saw around £11,000 raised for Macmillan Cancer Support during the Annual Charity Golf Day, held at Hanbury Manor, bringing the total raised over the years to just over £100,000.

It was a great day that saw 33 teams and over 120 industry professionals take part in the tightly fought team competition with Team Corning (Nader Balti, Andrew Davis, Andy Davies, George Jurrgens) coming out on top. The winning player was Steve Parker from Curran IT.

The evening kicked off with a three-course dinner, a raffle and an auction, all contributing to the fantastic fundraising total for the evening.

2022 Annual Charity Golf Day Raises Over £10,000

Over £10,000 was raised for Macmillan Cancer Support during 2022’s Annual Charity Golf Day, held at Hanbury Manor, bringing the total raised over the years to just over a fantastic £90,000.

The 25th May 2022 was a great day, and with 35 teams and 139 people, it was the biggest yet. The tightly fought Team competition saw Team Networks Centre come out on top
closely followed by Team Anixter 2 in second place and Team Curran IT in third.

Once again there was a Longest Drive competition, won by Stephen Parker, Team Curran IT 2, as well as Nearest the Pin, won my Jonathan Goodall, Team Splice Group and trick shot challenges, won by 29 people, with CNet Training’s Andrew Stephens being drawn out of the hat as a winner.

The evening kicked off with a three-course dinner, a raffle and auction.

2019 Annual Charity Golf Day Raises over £13,100

A fantastic £13,650 was raised for Macmillan Cancer Support during 2019’s Annual Charity Golf Day, held at Hanbury Manor, bringing the total raised over the years to just over a fantastic £78,500.

The 22nd May 2019 was a great day, warm and sunny, and with 33 teams it was the biggest yet. The winning team was Webro Cables & Connectors with 99 points and the best individual was Stu Miller from team ExcelRedstone, with 44 points – congratulations.

Once again there was a Longest Drive competition, won by John Byron, Team Splice Group, as well as Nearest the Pin, won my Gavin Miller, Team ACI and trick shot challenges, won by Richard Watson, Darren King and George Dykes. Additionally, the simulator nearest the pin was won by Darren King.

The evening kicked off with a three-course dinner, a raffle and auction. Tremendous thanks to our auction donors – David Bowles (Technical Resources), Jerry Mills (Mills Ltd.) and Peter Krovina (Comms Centre).

Annual Charity Golf Day Raises Over £8,000

Over £8,000 was raised for Macmillan Cancer and the We Love Manchester Emergency Fund, at the annual Inside_Networks Charity Golf Day held at Hanbury Manor. This is double the amount from the previous year, taking the total, since it began in 2005, to over £55,000.

In contrast to last year, it was a gloriously sunny day (the hottest of the year so far). Following the fun on the course, the evening kicked-off with a presentation by Golf Trick Shot Legend Jeremy Dale followed by a three course dinner and prize giving.

Thanks to sponsors CNet Training, Computacenter, Excel and LMG. Money was raised through raffles, auctions, ‘Beat the Pro’ trick shot challenges and a longest drive simulator.

2014 Charity Golf Day raises £2,600 for Macmillan Cancer Support

The Inside Networks 2014 Charity Golf Day raised £2,600 for Macmillan Cancer Support, taking the total since the event started to a massive £37,000! This fantastic sum was the culmination of a great day’s golfing at the prestigious Hanbury Manor PGA Championship Course in Ware, Hertfordshire, which was followed by a three-course dinner, prize giving and charity raffle.
